During my 6 months working for the James A. Michener Art Museum I had the privledge of working on many meaningful projects. Ranging from small scale package and label design to full fledged exhibition design.

The michener Art MUSEUM

Exhibition Design, Environmental Design, Wayfinding, Package Design

Industrial Strength

Charlotte Schatz - Industrial Strength; Opened November 16th, 2024, I had the opportunity to design the brand for this show. This started with a large scale wall graphic using a photo of Schatz, which I adapted into the style of the show. I also had a role in designing the layout of the show as well as a bench in which visitors could sit amoung works of art and process materials.

Nakashima Reading room

This Booklet is a to compliment the Nakashima reading room at The Michener Art Museum. The room is full of small artifacts and works of art, this booklet serves to provide context for visitors to the room.

Behind These Walls

Most notably, I was tasked with designing the exhibition for their ongoing reinterpretation project “Behind These Walls.” The Michener is the former Bucks County Jail and the original outer walls still surround the land today. This project evaluates how the institution can interpret its past and look towards the future.

family education center

I also had the pleasure of completely redesigning the Family education center to feel more welcoming to visitors and their families and draw inspiration from the George Anthonisen piece displayed at the center of the space.
