Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service from Google that lets you back up, organize, edit, and find your pictures and videos.

As a new client to M Booth we worked to develop a new look and feel for their presence on social media. The new objective to speak with a fresh gen z forward voice.

I worked closely with art director Allison Wisniewski to create an authentic visual language.

We started simple with type overlay templates that feel true to modern social media. The idea is not to reinvent the wheel but to make it feel like a smoother ride.

The next idea was to use real in app features as design elements, and who doesn’t love stickers. The images are fresh and colorful and everything is designed with motion in mind.

Simplified UI is an important exploration for any modern media tool. Your users need to be able to understand all the cool features you’ve created.

here we have simplified the UI for use in social content. It keeps the core of what makes the UI important while making it more social friendly.
